On behalf of the Japan Society of Marketing and Distribution (JSMD), I am delighted to welcome you to the Global Marketing Conference (GMC) in Hong Kong in 2025.


GMC started in 2008 and rapidly developed as one of the leading academic societies in the marketing field. I appreciate the much effort Prof. Ko and Prof. Kim put into leading the GMC to great success.


This year’s conference theme, “Marketing and Management Transformation in the Age of Digital Challenges,” is timely, as academia and business practitioners are facing environmental transitions. We expect that it will bring many inspiring discussions.


We hope that the GMC will continue to be a valuable academic platform, and that the conference in 2025 will be beneficial and enjoyable for all participants.
